NABVETS is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to advocating for veterans, empowering communities, and preserving the legacy of Black veterans across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.

The National Association for Black Veterans (NABVETS) is committed to improving the lives of veterans and their families through advocacy, service, leadership, and community engagement.With more than 100 chapters nationwide, including Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, NABVETS continues to expand its impact through local leadership, national programs, and dedicated community service.Through collaboration, outreach, and advocacy, NABVETS works to ensure veterans receive the recognition, support, and opportunities they have earned through their service.

To advocate for and support Black veterans by promoting unity, protecting their rights, and ensuring access to benefits, opportunities, and leadership within their communities.

To build a future where Black veterans are fully recognized, empowered, and supported in every area of life — including healthcare, housing, education, employment, and civic leadership.
